Chesapeake Classroom - Teachers on the Bay

Brief Description: Three of our teachers participated in a week long Chesapeake Classrooms course through the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. During this week, teachers were exposed to a variety of environmental learning opportunities and strategies. During the week, teachers collaborated with one another and began planning for a meaningful learning experience using the ELM (Environmental Literacy Model). Provided is the reflection from the participants and presentation used to share the trip with administration and funders.
Masters Degree - Environment Based Learning
Timeframe: Fall 2015-2018
Description: Erik Vreeland is currently a student of Mary Baldwin University in the Environment Based Learning Master's program. The program consists of a variety of courses that pertain to Environmental Education.
